Beans is a really nice meal though not everyone likes it, I have that likes and this that don't. Personally, I don't dislike it, I don't just cook it often like I cook rice.

There are no laid down or compulsory method for preparing beans. People have their different ways and method of preparing it. In this post, I'll share the different ways and methods I've seen and come across.

You could prepare beans with custard like I prepared today. You could prepare it with bread, you could prepare it with plantain (ripe or unripe), you could prepare it with rice, you could prepare it unripe banana, you could prepare it with Cocoyam and you could also prepare it with Garri. So you see there are different combo you could prepare beans with.

Beans is most preferred to be sieved so it won't make you fart, fart and fart. You could even fart while in church and it dismisses...lol😀😀😀. It can make you fart anywhere you are, in school, market, name it...so it's better the beans is sieved before cooking it. Also, it's not advisable to cook beans always as it can make you stomach dirty, so one should cook it once in a while.

Recipes

  • I bought 3cups of beans, selected it so as to remove sand, stones and residue.
  • I washed it and then cooked it.
  • It boiled for about 20 minutes, then I filtered it then put another water and cooked it till it was soft enough to eat.

Now, after the above 3 processess, some filter it so they can fry the beans why some just add the necessary ingredients at once. Whatever way you chose is still good.

  • I filtered it again and then I placed the pot on fire, when the water was completely dried off, I put palm oil. When it was hot, I added the onions I sliced.

  • I turned it and then added beans and other ingredients like Maggi, salt, pepper and crayfish. Crayfish is optional, if you don't want to add it, it will still be delicious.

  • I turned it properly and tasted it and then add what was not enough. I allowed it to boil to at least 5 minutes before bringing the pot down.

  • I boiled water for custard
  • While the water was on fire, I turned the custard with cold water and mixed it well.
  • When the water was completely boiled I put it into the custard I turned and mixed.
  • I added sugar, Milo and milk. I turned it and mixed it well.
