BASHAMIL- BAKE MACARONI

Today is the 3rd day of Eid Al Adha. It is a part of the six days holiday here in my workplace.

Because it's a Feast of Sacrifice, we had been slaughtering animals. The people of the house don't like meat successively. The youngsters requested me to cook another kind of light food aside from meat and rice.

It's the Bashamil!

My bashamil today has a different kind before. Well, the procedure is the same. The difference was the color of the filling in between the macaroni, the chicken with vegetable, macaroni again then on the top is the bashamil.

It has a four-layer when you have to put it in a glass pan or kitchen glassware.

°Saute the garlic and onions until golden brown.
°Add the cubed chicken breast.
°Add the 4 colors of bell peppers,(yellow, orange, red and green)
°Add the don't slice carrots
°Add salt and black pepper then hot pepper is optional.

While preparing and cooking, tea was on my side.

For 45 minutes, it will look like these. This is ready to eat Bashamil.

I was cleaning on the other room and let the basil cool down. I want to take a picture of the slice one for post-presentation but sad to say, they finished it and I had no picture for the final presentation.

The Bashamil is made up of the following:

Unsalted butter to melted
Add 6 tablespoon flour and black pepper
Add Maggie cubes
Add 10 tablespoon of powdered milk with water and pour it into the butter and flour preparation.
Add black pepper and salt to taste. Gradually stirring it until sticky and pour into the layered macaroni and chicken.

I baked two pans, one for us and one for the newlywed couple.

The last 2nd day of Eid Al Adha was a happy night with visitors coming to the house. Last night, they were just eating this and thru we're all satisfied with the taste.

Cooking, cleaning and etc. are my household task every day and there's no wonder why I cook a different recipe all the time.
