A few days ago, we got some kluwih fruits (seeded breadfruit) from the local market. It's a kind of fruit we used as vegetables. There is another variety called sukun or breadfruit (no seed) which we eat as a snack or turn cakes. The seeded breadfruit is just for vegetables.

The kluwih or seeded breadfruit is round with soft spikes all over it. You don't have to worry about the spikes because they were soft.

To serve this as vegetable, firs we will show you how to make seeded breadfruit curry. The first step is to peel the breadfruit.

It's not that difficult to peel the fruit because the flesh is very soft. You can peel it in no time, and the spongy fruit flesh is revealed. The next thing is to cut the fruit into smaller pieces. You will notice the seeds when you cut the fruit. The size of the seeds are relatively big. The seeds are not thrown away, in fact, they very soft. You can eat them too.

Next after washing and cleaning the breadfruits, we boiled these cuts breadfruit in hot water on a the cooking pan. We let them boil for a few minutes until they are half cooked.

On the meantime, we prepared some seasoning which consists of garlic, chili, turmeric, galangal macadamia nut, coriander seeds, and shrimp paste. All ground and mixed into seasoning paste. We added some water to the paste and then poured it into the cooking pan.
