Super Spicy Pani Puri | Exploring street food of Dhaka!

You may have heard about Pani puri, the popular street food of South East Asian countries; especially India and Bangladesh. It's been a while I couldn't taste Pani puri because of this pandemic. Oh, I missed this so much.

Even sharing the photos with you making my mouth watering!

Pani Puri is spicy, crunchy, tangy in taste. The filling is made out with chickpea mashed. And the round crunchy puri is made out of flour, semolina, and spices. The filling is stuffed with cucumber, tomatoes, onion slices, green chili, nana chili, and a lot of spices. The tamarind water will give you a good shot and a blast of spicy taste.

A lot of spicy action is going on here!

You can ask the seller to reduce or increase the spice and tangy sauce as per your taste.

Yesterday, I visited the University of Dhaka campus. The campus is full of different street foods. A lot of street vendors sell different types of food, especially Pani Puri and Fuchka.

This is the place where I enjoyed the bowl of Pani Puri. This is the LOCATION of the place. But you will get this food all over the campus.

One bowl of Pani Puri costs only 30 Taka, that's is equivalent to $0.35. Street foods are really very cheap!

The chickpea filling.

The seller is cutting all the ingredients to make the filling, including Naga chili!

Street foods are not very hygienic. Yes. But I think we sometimes can try this because of its good taste. And we kind of grew up having a lot of spicy food including street foods. So my tummy didn't behave anything wired!!

If you visit this city, you must try Pani Puri. The taste is so worth it!
