Eng Bee Tin Chinese Deli
When you're visiting Manila, you shouldn't miss buying some of these famous Chinese delicacies. It's an old Chinese delicacy shop that has been selling since 1912. It was established by Mr. Chua Chiu Hong in a simple stall at Chinatown, Binondo Manila.
That's why just before our flight back to Cebu, our last destination during our trip in Manila was Eng Bee Tin. My colleagues insisted that we should buy some goodies or delicacies for our loved ones.
My colleagues bought several hopia in different flavours like mongo, ube, cheese and many more. I also bought moon cakes and fortune cookies since my daughter loves popping the cookie and read the small paper for her fortune. My sister in law's favorite was the hopia with meat inside.
It's amazing that from small stall they now have a big 2 storey store and many more branches/franchise in the country. It is such an inspiring story to see a small business becomes big in the future. That's why we should always remember to support small businesses.
So, if you happen to visit Manila, you should include this on your itinerary so you can try the different kind of Chinese delicacies. It's worth every penny and the people who are waiting for you at home will become happier if you'd remember them through this small gesture.

I think I also saw one in Quezon City. I just can't recall if it is in SM North EDSA.
Yep! They're really a must buy when we visit Manila :) hehe
It’s good to know that these famous Chinese delicacies from 1912 are still existing up to this moment, sis. How I love to taste both. I love Chinese foods and surely these goodies are delicious. Have safe travels and take care dear.
Right! It feels great to see businesses still up and running for a very long time. :) Thanks sis!
Hehe, I would love to research about its history. I am wondering how it remained up to this moment without experiencing the downs. We know some foods had vanished for some reasons although they were really deli. The pleasure is mine sis, and you’re welcome. !LUV
