Roasted Pork Belly, simple!

Happy New Year, you all!

I showed you how to roast pork belly the fancy way HERE.

Let me show you how to do a Roasted Pork Belly the simple way.

Take a slab of pork belly. This one is about 2 pounds. Rub some salt and pepper all over then pop it in a preheated 350-degree oven. Roast it until it is crisp, about an hour and a half.

A small oven will do!

You know it is cooked because the skin is crispy crunch on the outside when tapped!

And then...

Chop, chop, chop away!

Roasted Pork Belly. YUM!

Whenever I see my dad make it, I see him pop holes on fatty layer of the pork. He said he did it makes the fried layer more crunchy. Sometimes though if you cook it for too long, I can't eat the part of the crunchy portion though.

Although roasted pork belly is nice, my favorite is cured pork belly. Just pop it into the rice cooker and its done when the rice is ready.

Oh, that's nice!!!
When you do the cured pork, it's already cured before you put it in the rice cooker, right? Your just heating it up, right?

Yes. You marinate then let the pork belly dry in the sun outside for a few days. Once the sauce is soaked inside the pork belly, all you need to do is steam it then you have Chinese style cured pork belly.

Interesting!!! What do you marinate the meat with?

I don't make it very often since my parents make it often and I usually am able to get a few off them. However when I make it, I follow the instructions at this link

Pork is the dirtest & the most toxic meat in the planet. Aluminium foley is also very toxic. Cooking like this is gonna make you sick!

Change your habits!
Finish with pork & aluminium!

Good luck!
