Boysenberries ice-cream
The year's boysenberries were picked yesterday - 12 cups of them came in. The vines are cut and disposed of. After prepping, 5 cups go to the freeze. One cup held for pancakes tomorrow (maybe), and four cups for a batch of ice cream. Using an electric churner, ice-cream was made and was put on a shortcake. Quite a dietary felony I must say. Quite good, though... and still a lot left.
