Hi everyone, I hope you are all well. Today I made sour papaya soup for lunch and I would like to share this recipe with you all. I don’t know if you like it or not but my family like this soup.

In Cambodia this dish is normally made with fish, but my family eat only Ital food. The people in countryside like to make this a lot because we can catch fish near the place we live. This make me miss the Cambodian countryside when I was young, I even catch fish in the field for cooking by myself, no need to spend money.

I think that looks great! I really need to add to my spice collection with some items that are a little tougher to find in the regular grocery stores. We have a few international markets really close by where I imagine I can find some things to better be able to start trying some of your delicious ideas!

Usually, I made young papaya as a stir-fried food. Never try your recipe. I will try for sure, Mom.

Nothing quite beats Cambodian sour soups, I love nearly all of them. This soup is also full of goodies to help keep the rona' away. Bring on the chilies!!

Thanks @sreypov for sharing this with us.

This looks amazing, makes my mouth water! Does ital mean vegan or just vegetarian?

Ital is Rastas, we eat brown rice, it’s like vegan food, no milk, cheese or eggs and we think a lot about good health and natures. Thank you for stopping by. !ENGAGE 15
