Coconut Rice Recipes ~ My Method Of Preparation

Greetings Hivers!
It's a brand new day and guess what? I prepared something palatable.
I have been sharing most of my cooking and food recipes, so today is not any different from what I have been doing.

Today I will share with you my recipes and method of preparing coconut rice.
You know we all have different methods of preparing a particular meal.
I always do my best to try other people's recipes and methods to see the result I will have at the end and some always work fine for me.
So for today, I will share you mine as well and I hope at the end of it, you will get something different or even similar to your method, but whatever be the case, I am glad to be here and sharing my recipes with you all.

So now let's get to the food recipes and preparations.

Recipes

  • Cocnut
  • Rice
  • Fish
  • Maggi
  • Onions
  • Salt
  • Crayfish
  • Fresh Pepper
  • Water

Method Of Preparation

  • First of all, I broke the coconut, turned the coconut water into either a cup or plate, peeled off the shells, and washed it.

  • I cut the coconuts into small pieces. I pieced almost all the coconut. I made sure none was bigger than my hands, I needed them to fit properly when I wanna grater them.

IMG_20201120_094213_410~2.jpg

  • I rinsed the grater and grater the pieced coconut till nothing was left

IMG_20201120_094135_207~2.jpg

  • After I finished with the grating, I removed the grater, sieved out the coconut particles on it into the pot I used for grating

IMG_20201120_103145_660~2.jpg

  • I set the count particles aside

IMG_20201120_103126_618~2.jpg

  • Then I pour in a measurable amount of water.
Note, you should use a little amount of water so that you won't dilute out the sweetness in the grated coconut chaff or particles.

" Then I scrubbed, rubbed, and squeezed out the juice from the coconut using a filter or siever with the help of the water I put earlier.

  • I squeezed the water into the pot I was using

IMG_20201120_112818_307~2.jpg

  • Then I transferred the coconut juice or water into another clean bowl.
You can see the coconut juice or water has an oily surface. With this, you can extract coconut oil from it but that isn't the business of today😁

IMG_20201120_115310_450~2.jpg

  • After getting the coconut juice or water, I set it aside. Get my fish and place it inside an open tray to make the ice from the fish melt really fast

IMG_20201120_103253_301~2.jpg

  • After the melting, I washed the fish using a big and open bowl.

IMG_20201120_105051_690~2.jpg

  • Then I cut the fish into smaller sizes of my choice and put it inside a small pot.

IMG_20201120_105526_699~2.jpg

  • I washed my fresh pepper, ground it, alongside the crayfish.
After the grinding, I added the ground pepper to the fish, added other ingredients, salt, maggi, and onions, and steamed the fish.

IMG_20200714_081035~2.jpg

  • I washed the white rice three times and parboiled it.

IMG_20200714_081345~3.jpg

  • When the rice was well parboiled, I put it off the gas cooker and washed it again then I added ingredients to it alongside the steamed fish.

IMG_20200714_081411~2.jpg

  • Then I left the food on fire for some minutes to boil and mix all the ingredients well. After which I added the juice I extracted from the coconut and I left it on fire to boil

IMG_20201120_131951_335~2.jpg

  • When the water in the rice dried up, I tasted it to be sure it's soft and well cooked. If it wasn't soft then I would have added more water to soften the grains of rice.

IMG_20201120_132709_719~2.jpg

  • And my coconut rice was done and ready to be eaten. I scooped the rice into a flat plate and set it aside to be consumed😋😋

And that is all for my food recipes and method of preparation for coconut rice.
I hope to share more recipes with you guys from time to time.
Thank you for engaging my post and I hope you won't miss my next cooking recipes.

Stay safe and eat healthily!
