COLOR CHALLENGE: WEDNESDAYS THEME YELLOW.
Hello #hive today's challenge colour is yellow anyone following my posts will realize that I have two major interests, #diving and #motorcycles. The latter is my chosen subject today, I own many bikes of varying sizes and styles, a few years back I noticed the market for old mopeds was picking up and started to buy up any old bangers I could get my hands on.
One model more than others caught my interest, the Honda express this little 50cc "twist and go" was very popular during my childhood. Built with no gears and running for miles on a thimble full of fuel the were Honda's answer to the 1970's fuel crisis. As a guy who races motocross and rides super bikes I still don't know why I took a shine to these little guys but one thing for sure they are a giggle to ride so I guess it's the sense of fun that pulled me in. At one time I owned 8 of them some I fully restored and sold them on, others like this one are waiting their turn in a long queue, with only 4 left in my shed it shouldn't be too much longer for this little chap to shine again.

I crashed a folding bike that looked like this one once. Didn't end well for the bike. I was ok, once I recovered. 😂
These little things are pretty scary out on the road max speed 30mph with a tail wind so a constant stream of cars zipping by.
Yeah, might be fun...Danger can be fun right? Lol.
Danger is fun it's the thing that reminds us we are alive, unless it kills us.
I remember how popular those bikes were when I was a kid. Unfortunately, not too many you can admire nowadays!
I'm doing my bit to put a few more back on the road. They have become popular with campervan travelers as they are so light they can be carried on the back of the van.
