Blue in All Dimensions | COLOR CHALLENGE - Blue, Silver, and White Friday (7.23.21)
Image created by me in Nvidia Gaugan Digital Drawing Program
Welcome back everyone. Hope you're ready for the weekend and have a nice plans for enjoyment. It's a bit hard to even plan or gather again as the pandemic seems to have turned the corner and returned with a vengeance. That means we have to be careful if we do venture out.
It's been stormy almost every day for the past month. So again today's blue, silver, and white colors are perfect for the daily Color Challenge with how the weather is in my area.
In looking for blue, silver, and white colors today, I want to share images that are dramatic and somber. What better way than cloudy to represent these feelings.
In addition to my own personal photos, I also design digital images. I located some images that I created from three digital drawing programs I like to work with.
MY PERSONAL PHOTO INVENTORY
Since it's been overcast in my area, I've been able to capture numerous images of the stormy sky. I love taking photos of clouds.
I captured this photo on a day a severe storm was approaching. We were hurrying to return home. I apologize that the image of the trees are dark. I was trying to capture the clouds as we were rushing home. We have numerous storms, so we know to take it seriously when we're out and the storm approaches quickly.
APOPHYSIS 2.09
I want to share an image I created with the Apophysis 2.09 Fractal Rendering program. This program allows me to design fractals. As you know, a fractal is an image created utilizing mathematical coordinates. The program uses a grid that contains triangles for your use in maneuvering the coordinates. Moving the coordinates to different locations results in a new image.
Once you design the fractal, the flames have to be rendered in order to create the image. You're now finally able to save the fractal.
I love the fractal design below. It looks like a solar system with blue rings rotating.
Bomomo
My next digital program I like working with is Bomomo. This program produces abstract images. The drawing tools are fun to work with. Each tool provides a set of patterns with varying colors that change when you move it in different directions. It takes time to become comfortable with the features and how they work. Once you become familiar with the features, you can produce abstract image patters for circles, triangles, waves, spheres, and other patterns.
If you like abstract are, you'll appreciate this image.
Nvidia Gaugan AI Digital Drawing Program
This last program I work with is Nvidia Gaugan AI Digital Drawing program, The blank drawing canvas is where I enter my brushstrokes.
Here is how the blank canvas looks when you first open the program:
Once you draw your brushstrokes on the canvas, the program interprets those brushstrokes. It then produces digital images. The brushstrokes represent features such as bridges, walls, stone, rocks, rivers, seas, water, sky, clouds, mountains, trees, flowers, bushes, buildings, and houses. These are only a few of the features at your disposal.
I've learned how to produce the images for clouds, the sky, water, and mountains to create the blue, silver, and white colors found in these elements.
My first digital drawing from the Nvidia AI program I inserted above as my thumbnail image.
I wanted to share with you other digital images I produced with a filter from the original thumbnail image:
I hope you like my Friday images. If you'd like to learn about any of the program mentioned here, let me know.

Thank you for stopping by and viewing my photos. Yes, the storm was approaching fast as the sky became dark quickly. Fortunately, we made it home before the downpour began, so we were safe. The wind was blowing rather hard.
Appreciate your nice words for my color day. Take care and have a good weekend ahead.
