Color Challenge: PINK- Little Pink Banka Boat-Philippines

Hi Hivers!

well this is my entry for todays Color Challenge Pink/Purple. I haven't posted in #colorchallenge for quite some time so here goes.

These boats with outriggers are called Banka and can also be spelled Bangka , banca or panca depending on the part of the Philippines you may be in. They come in all sizes. From small ones like this propelled by manpower to huge boats with inboard diesel engines or medium size ones with engines from anything available or outboard engines like I use on my dive boats. I like the outboards for maneuverability myself but that would be a little too much for this one.

I'm pretty sure this is the only pink one i have ever seen. This is lucky for me with it being pink on the #colorchallenge today. She is quite pretty.

Beautiful day to be out for a paddle and looking pretty good in the little pink boat. Really stands out against the blues of the sky and ocean. Very cool indeed. They certainly stand out.

I fancy getting out there in my Kayak now as they make it look so good. Or shall I have a beer hmmm now that's an idea. I think I'll do that instead as it is quite hot and all that paddling looks like a lot of hard work. In fact beer it is as I now have company and will not have to drink alone.
