Color Challengs- WEDNESDAY-YELLOW-IDLE FINS

Hello Hivelanders!

this is my entry for Wednesdays Color Challenge, Yellow. My Scuba fins resting idle against my also idle and unused scuba cylinders. Now the more observant of you may notice that they are in fact different and not a pair at all. Now i could claim this was for artistic effect but that would be an awful fib. I was not really fully awake at the moment i arranged them and as i own 2 similar pairs, both black and Yellow I actually didn't realise until I was looking at the photos much later on.

Easy mistake to make as they are very very alike. This is because ( nerd moment) that the one company Mares ( fin to the right) bought Dacor ( maker of fin on the left) and then proceeded to use the patent on their own design. I was blissfully unaware of this when i bougt the Dacor fins out a bargain bin for five pounds and the Mares ones cost probably $60 USD. I still use both. The older ones are actually longer lasting also.

If you look closely you can see the mate to the Mares under the bench on the left. Hiding and looking more than a little guilty of something. Maybe they deliberately tricked me like a pair of identical twins annoyed at being mistaken for each other.
