Comprehension Ready: Eric And Victor| LIFE OF GIVE AND TAKE.

Once upon a time there was a man called mr. Eric. He was a government officer responsible for employment in his department. He used his office for profit maximization. There was also an orphan, who lost his parents when he was eight. To make the matters worse, his relatives did not take good care of him.
Victor was the only son of his deceased parents. He had only one sister, Emmanuella, who came after him.
At the age of fifteen Victor realized the challenges of life and therefore determined not to be a sluggard. He was always praying for a job to sustain his life and that of his younger sister.

One day, Victor learnt of an existing vacancy for a messenger in one of the government offices. Victor applied for the Post in the establishment where Mr. Eric was responsible for the employment. After completing all the necessary formalities, Victor went to see the employment officer in person. The first day, Mr. Eric told Victor to come back the next day adding that he should know what to do.
Victor did not understand the statement, 'ypu should know what to do'. The following day the went and Mr. Eric asked him to come back the next morning. The Thursday Victor tirelessly went back to Eric. On arrival, he entered the office. Mr. Eric took time silently and assessed him up and down and being satisfied that Victor had nothing for him, he asked: "Boy! What do you say I should do for you?"
No sooner had Victor responding than me. Eric told him:
"Go out from my office! Do you think my office is for every dog and chicken like you? Walk outside ! " Mr. Eric roared. Victor went out of Eric's office shamefully.
With this embarrassment, Victor gave up the idea of working under anybody in the mean time. With the little help from friends, he took to Hawking. Being self-sponsered, he placed trading side by side with his Education. In school Victor was very brilliant. Immediately, after obtaining his General certificate of education he was employed in one of the lucrative companies. After six years of service, he was given the post of a General Manager ofe Company because of his ingenuity.
Before this time, Mr. Eric had been sacked on account of official corruption and fraudulent practices. From that time, the world failed to smile at him. From the top of the ladder Mr. Eric descended to the bottom.
Life became hard and tough for him. Mr. Eric hardly came by one meal a day. One good day, Mr. Eric learnt that vacancies existed in the certain company.
With his qualification he was sure to fill one of the vacancies.
After completing the application formalities Mr. Eric decided to see the General Manager personally, so as to explain his pitiable condition for immediate employment. Did he know that he was going to see 'a dog or chicken' of his wicked imagination, Victor? When Mr Eric got into the office, he saw a huge and handsome young man.
Victor quickly recognized Mr. Eric because the former even was a fresh as a day old accident in his memory. In his mind Victor concluded, " I will surely pay you back in your own coins".
After greeting each other, Mr. Eric precisely made known to Victor his condition and pleaded for consideration. Having examine Eric's credentials, Victor said to him: "Mr. Man. You are suitably qualified for the job available. But in what way do you think a dog or a chicken can offer a job to a human being like you?
The seed you sowed has germinated. This is the time for you to harvest it.
Get out of my office. There is no job for an idiot like you! " Mr. Eric recalled the past immediately and left the Victor's Office with heavy shame.
