This unequally affected children and adolescents in the most vulnerable and disadvantaged communities in emerging and developing countries mainly due to the technological gap and the absence of tools and means to enable remote learning during the pandemic.

This is due to the lack of economic and education, technology and innovation policies, which would enable it to provide its population with the necessary infrastructures and tools to ensure learning, the pandemic highlights this serious global scourge as well as deepening the gap in this area.
The reality that touched many families to live during the pandemic has left the serious social and cultural problem that existed globally and which was further accentuated by the compulsory social isolation that left many parents jobless and without the means to make it easier for their children to access the tools to continue studying during the pandemic.
According to UNESCO more than 24 million students of the different levels of education for the past year were at risk that the interruption of education by Covid-19 could be permanent; as they point out that half of this figure corresponds to South and West Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa.
