Introduction: The teacher introduces the lesson by asking the students questions on the above topic to arouse their interests.

Step 1: Definition of possessive pronouns
Possessive pronouns are pronouns that help us show possession or ownership in a sentence.

Step 2: Examples of possessive pronouns
The examples of possessive pronouns are;

• Mine
• Yours
• His
• Hers
• Its
• Ours
• Theirs

Step 3: Identification of possessive pronouns in a sentences

• The dog is mine
• That cat is theirs
• Those bags is hers
• The car is ours
• The ring is his

Evaluation: The teacher ask the students questions on the topic above to test their level of understanding.

Assignment: Make two sentences each with theirs and mine
