English is a language that is universally accepted and often used for communicating with people who do not know your native tongue.

Many people are afraid of speaking English for fear of making mistakes but unless you try, you will never be able to handle or to progress far.

Start to read storybooks for children in English. It will help you to grasp the meaning easily and oftentimes, the meanings are given at the end of a chapter.

Watch shows that are broadcast in English. Make sure to watch the news broadcast by the BBC and even if you do not seem to understand the accent at first, you will slowly learn to grasp it.

Try to converse with people in English and it can be at your home where you are more comfortable or in the office or in a chat room on discord. The more you try, the better you will become over time.
