Handwriting

Hand writing is a very important aspect of a child's education but it's often neglected by some teachers and parents alike. In recent years,in the school where I work, most pupils gets to upper classes with terrible handwriting which is difficult to read.At this time,it becomes difficult to change a child's handwriting. Yes, handwriting is inbuilt as concluded by some set of scholars. Nevertheless,it can also be cultured or learned. It starts right from the Nursery where a child learns how to hold a pencil to writing of letters. If the letters aren't learnt properly as ought to,it has a high possibility to affect the child's handwriting later on. So, I came up with this method for my pupils instead of using the usual 2D handwriting book.

I introduced them to Monkey letters, Giraffe letters and Turtle letters and use lines in their note books to practice. I can say it really helped than the 2D.
