RE: Can You Feel The Pressure?

I like your food for brain Zoltan :-).

I've once read a very nice anecdote during my studies. It was an analogy between stress and relaxing behaviour. The guy wrote that if you have a country where every 10 hours the sirenes go off, the people will run to their bunker and they will be scared. In the end they will be so scared that they won't harvest their crops, they won't build anything. They will be just affraid and scared and in the end they are going to die of hunger... The interesting part about this thing is that he wanted to show what is happening in our body is the same when we are under pressure and stressed. We are scared and our cells stop to regenerate themselves. They are just in fight or flight mode and they have forgotten to rebuild dead cells and old tissue.

I found this anecdote very appropriate for the situation we live in... on all levels.

Huh... it is really a nice anecdote! I like it!!!

We are scared and our cells stop to regenerate themselves. They are just in fight or flight mode and they have forgotten to rebuild dead cells and old tissue.

And this can be the opposite thing also... For me, it looks like we are all "stunned" like everyone is in a "frozen picture"... But the result is the same as in your anecdote... We have forgotten about ourselves, our rights, our meaning,...

Enjoy your weekend, my friend!
