[Eng-Esp] Sowing beans - Sembrando habas.
Some time ago, a friend gave me these seeds. They are broad beans, large white seeds. I soaked several of them and then planted them. After a few days, about 5 days, the seedlings were born.
Hace algún tiempo ya, un amigo me regaló estas semillas. Son habas, grandes semillas de color blanco. Las coloqué en remojo a varias de ellas y luego las sembré. A los pocos días, unos 5 días aproximadamente, nacieron las plántulas.
They are large seeds, so they have large seedlings. In the next few days I sowed them in independent black bags for each plant to develop individually.
Son semillas grandes, así que son plántulas grandes. En los próximos días las siembro en bolsas negras independientes. Para que cada planta se desarrolle en forma individual.
They have already obtained a significant size. Now it's necessary to transplant into larger bags or larger pots with depth, so that the roots develop well.
Ya obtuvieron un tamaño importante. Ahora hay que trasplantar a bolsas más grandes o a macetas más grandes, con profundidad, para que las raíces se desarrollen bien.
The plant is growing and is now entangled in my fence. There it will remain until it completes its full evolution. Meanwhile it continues to grow through all the free space of the grate.
La planta está creciendo y ahora se enreda en mi reja. Allí permanecerá hasta que termine con su evolución completa. Mientras tanto continua creciendo a través de todo el espacio libre de la reja.
The time for the flower production has arrived. It's bearing many clusters of flowers. I see that not all of them grow well, with the issue of the water supply in the area where I live the plant goes through periods of drought, but still it continues to grow as it can.
Llegó la hora de la producción de las flores. Está teniendo muchos racimos de flores. Veo que no todos crecen bien. Con el problema del suministro de agua en la zona donde vivo, la planta pasa por períodos de sequía. Pero aun así continúa creciendo como puede.
Now I realize that it is producing these pods. There are some of them. It means that, despite the drought, the plant is trying to develop its fruits.
Ahora me doy cuenta que está produciendo estas vainas. Hay varias. Quiere decir que a pesar de la sequía la planta está tratando de desarrollar sus frutos.
Now I just have to wait for them to grow more and see to what extent they mature and how much will I harvest from these beans.
Ahora solo debo esperar que crezcan más y ver hasta donde maduran y con que efectividad tendré cosecha de estas habas.
I plant every year all the kind of beans me and my parents can find.
I have a lot of species from Africa, South America and Asia.
I even have a very dangerous one when it is green, that it is called "velvet bean".

If you touch it while green, you will have a crisis of itching and erashes in the skin for 48 hours.:-(
We can't approach until it looses the "hair". :-(
Makes the best sauces in the world. My father make it. :-) very good.
