Luck be a Lady? (Random Musings on a Random Day)
This year is weird. It's so weird that even rereading "1984" seems stale. This year has made divisions so abundantly clear that there is no more burying one's head in the sand on the fact that not everything is terriffic and awesome. A lot of what I read is brutally honest and agree or not, there's a bitter wave of truth that has swept over my country and the world. I refuse to become apathetic or just figure that "it is what it is". I feel like there are no choices anymore and that a lot of people collectively painted themselves into corners of their own mechanisms.
Now I know that first paragraph is gloomy and doomy but fret not!
Just because now is hellish it does not mean it's staying that way. The last couple days have not been easy ones, I'm trying to balance a lot of different projects for work and pleasure and it gets exhausting. I was a prolific Steemian and did a ton of projects to fruition that I am still proud of but just now feel that I can "make it" on HIVE. The below Yoda "art" is me whining then stopping whining to go join more things and get involved.
So after having sorta a stressed out pity party I decided to become more proactive in my offtime and also gardening season is mostly over so it frees up more time to mess about online. ASK AND YE SHALL RECEIVE! I wanted to say a special thank you to @drakos who was kind enough to give me delegation. ...Suppose my obnoxious "do no harm but take no shit"(quote from a bestie) attitude got me some good karma because I do manually curate and care. I wouldn't be on here otherwise. Thank you very much sir and anyone who wants to delegate feel free, I sure won't stop you and my goal but not priority is to get out some rather STUCK investments and see how it goes on here and then put that money into HIVE. I don't like having money stuck up in other projects but can't help that some exchanges dropped some. anyways, THANK YOU DRAKOS, you rock!
There are my random thoughts on a rather random day and hope everyone else is sticking to their roadmaps of what they are seeking to find here and out there in the big scary Real World.
This year has certainly had its downs and downs. 🙃
It’s good to keep on trucking and evaluating and finding things that bring peace and contentment in the crazy.
Even if the stuff that brings contentment is CRAZY! 😂🤣 🐯

I was just thinking today that I had stopped trying to be the best me. This covid thing has exaggerated my laziness ! LOL.... so I will be thinking on what I need to be doing to get myself back in line.

I would say (imo) that things are gonna get a lot crazier before it gets any better.
Better to be prepared for it (mentally) than hoping it's all over...
oh yeah, it's like a zit that has to get popped before anything gets better, Americans , many lack savings or thinking of future planning and fell for the materialism route vs. just dealing with living within their means. For a lot it's horrible , they lost everything and careers etc...but the divisions in this country are now just bare for all to see and it's gonna play out one way or the other.
...it will get worse before election day for sure!
And prolly no matter who wins, still escalate after?

Thanks for reminding me NOT to get to focused on the Crap out there and more on the things that are positive, productive, constructive, and building others up even when I'm feeling spent at the end of the day.
think a lot of "always sunny" on here or irl people are full of sheeeet, no way can people be 'awesome' during this year and the takeaway is to just ride it out, fight, hang in there or whatever. The crap on here or there or anywhere can be grinding down, thanks for the cool comment and support
