My Dreams
Who am I?
My name is Carmen Indira.
I am a Venezuelan, from the state of Yaracuy.
I am a professional, my university degree is as follows; Bachelor of Science and Culture of Food. I know that many people will ask what is the profile of my profession so I present it to you
Is an enterprising and innovative professional, with a solid moral and ethical background; with the ability to create and manage his own company; capable of designing, advising, operating, controlling and supervising processes in the areas Culinary, Gastronomy, Food Services, Production (handling, storage and processing) and Quality Assurance in order to maintain and/or improve the sensory and nutritional attributes of food; propose and establish food policies; design Standards and Programs for Maintenance, Quality Assurance and Environmental Impact and work as a researcher in the area of Food Science, Culture and Tradition.
A fairly broad profile with many opportunities.
But don't believe it, in this life I have worked in several areas, not only in food. When I was in college, I made candy and sold it among my group of friends.
I did my university internship in a company determining the microbiological quality of the finished product.
When I received my degree as a professional I worked as a cook in a restaurant, I learned a few things and reinforced what I already knew.
With time this restaurant closed its doors and I became unemployed, but not without the desire to get ahead, so I started making decorations for the girls' hair, with the profits obtained I bought ingredients and began to work independently as a pastry chef, making sweets is my passion. The country situation did not allow me to continue doing what I love, which is to dedicate myself to sweeten the lives of others.
It is no secret that my country is going through a serious crisis, that starting a business is not easy.
However, I hope that this crisis will end and that I will be able to make my dream come true, which is to have an artisanal cake and cookie factory and to be known by the people of my state for creating the most delicious desserts.
I currently work at hive, I post recipes, poems and tell part of my life.
My advice today, do not stop dreaming, fight for what we love.

I hope I can make my dream come true.
Happy Start of the week
hmmmm those things look yummy! Cool see a bit of what you are doing and it is a pleasure to meet you!
Thank you for taking the time to look at my work
Your baking looks delicious! And I admire your resilience especially when I understand how terrible the Venezuelan economy is like as I work with a former Venezuelan. She described to me how her family used to be middle class but they decided to leave for better opportunities.
I wish you great success and welcome to our community, Ladies of Hive.
Thank you for sharing @carmenm20
Many families have disintegrated as a result of migration, many left in search of improvements, struggling outside their roots. Others like me stayed to fight inside our lands.
I'm glad you like my work.
You pastry skills caught my attention instantly. I've got a sweet tooth and because of some health issues (high cholesterol level) I have to reduce the sugar and sweets.
And this is very sad. :-(
But it won't stop me of following your posts with sweet recipes.
You must take care of yourself.
Thank you for following my work.
A sweet always cheers the soul
The ever multi-talented Carmen. If only your family could be picked up and relocated elsewhere. But then right now during the pandemic, every country is feeling some type of crisis with otherwise well-to-do individuals struggling to make ends meet.
I love how you still hold your desires close to your heart and never despair. With your resilience, you will succeed one day. You have talent in crafts and baking and very good at both. I admire your work.
Take care, and stay safe.
Thank you for your words of encouragement. I always keep the faith that we will all soon get ahead.
It’s very nice and the fact that you have fairly broad profile with many opportunities. I wish you luck
Thank you very much Britt
