The Orchestration

avatar

There is just something about the peaceful end of the moment. It surrounds me, the splendor, the majesty - the golden beauty of it all. When the sun kisses the water goodnight, it calls for me to start another day, on another day.

The years are orchestrated by the sunsets of life, with joyful pieces of living in between.

Alas, I contemplate, the sunset connects with a deeper, conceivably more profound part of myself and this amazing world we live in! The hues of the surrounding sky make for an image that shines beauty on everything it touches, including my soul, oh, my soul! And I think to myself - what a wonderful world.

It stirs a place in my heart, my love.

"The rose speaks of love silently, in a language known only to the heart."

Whereas the flower is encouraged to flourish with care, the bloom shall be yours to wear - until the next.

Will you be mine?
Will you be mine?
All of the time, 'til the end of time?
Will you be mine?

Oh, there is a necessity in writing, penning my thoughts, journaling or whatnot – for how else will I capture the moment as it passes; what happens if I should forget those minute details, or worse, what if I forget that moment – to be gone like an exhale on a cold morning?

And just like that, this post is over. Come back tomorrow and we will do it again.

Thank you for visiting my post 💖 Don't ever forget what a wonderful world we live in, people. Some days, it is not as easy to see, just how wonderful it really is. For me, I try to do my part. Kindness counts. Wherever you go, whatever you do.

Shall I compare thee to a summer’s day?
Thou art more lovely and more temperate:
Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May,
And summer’s lease hath all too short a date:
Sometime too hot the eye of heaven shines,
And often is his gold complexion dimmed,
And every fair from fair sometime declines,
By chance, or nature’s changing course untrimmed:
But thy eternal summer shall not fade,
Nor lose possession of that fair thou ow’st,
Nor shall death brag thou wander’st in his shade,
When in eternal lines to time thou grow’st,
So long as men can breathe, or eyes can see,
So long lives this, and this gives life to thee.

Shakespeare

Oh sunset! 😍😍😍 What a beautiful creation! God doesn't have to, but he gave us a sense of beauty to appreciate the beauty of sunset as it "kisses the water goodnight." And why do you write so beautifully, my friend? ❤

I love the quote about the rose. "Speaks of love silently, in a language known only to the heart." 🌹🌹🌹 It's very true.

You are too sweet! I always think of how lovely it is to be able to put the day to bed with a beautiful sunset. Seems so fitting, especially after a lovely day. And if it wasn't everything that I wanted, then somehow, the sunset makes up for that.

Happy Sunday from here!!

No worries @dswigle! It seems lately that everyone has so much to do and things just happen; it can be hard to get everything done. If only the day had 48 hours.....but then we'd just fill that too. Take care my friend!💜

You are a poet, my sweet @dswigle! You have an exceptional talent and ability to keenly describe how you feel. What a gift!

While I was away from home and lived in the University dorm, I recall a period of time during my freshman year when I was so homesick, missing my Mom and Dad and our home. I'd go every other day to the stationery store and spend an hour two each time poring over the many Hallmark cards reading the messages in an attempt to find just the right card to send to my parents that express how I feel about being away from them.

I must not miss any of your articles. Perhaps if I keep reading them, I will learn to express what is in my heart, the way you do.

Have a lovely evening, my sweet friend @dswigle. Take care 🥰🌺🤙

I read all of these beautiful comments in the middle of the night and because I thought about what I would write on them, believed I already did... until I realized I didn't.

Le sigh.

Thank you, my sweet friend, for inviting me to be part of this wonderful group. I love that you were such a kind and gentle soul, even as you went to the University, still thinking of your parents. That certainly says a lot about the way you were raised. You are kind to everyone you meet, going out of your way to make everyone feel welcome. Not everybody can say that. As a matter of fact, most people cannot.

I am so happy to have met you along life's path.

Have a wonderful evening, sweet girl.

"The rose speaks of love silently, in a language known only to the heart." your quote there is very very true, am a flower fanatic and roses are my fave, I have some on the dining table and in an entry room and I always get this weird twinge of sadness when they peak and then I know the next day they will start that inevitable process of starting to fade away. Perhaps Roses are enchanting because with their beauty comes the thorns, something about them as well as their perfume always gets to me. A very lovely post indeed

There is something so quiet and yet dramatic about the rose, isn't there? I want to thank you for taking the time to comment, every so eloquently on the post.

Roses should not only be for lovers, sometimes, but I also buy myself roses, because they remind me of how I should always stop and smell the roses.

Thank you, beautifully worded woman. You made me feel like a million dollars. Have a great evening!
