[Eng - Esp] My tasty fried chicken -- Mi sabroso pollo frito.

Hi, dear ladies.

I like fried chicken, preparing it for my family is a real pleasure. This is not a recipe, it's a brief description of how I prepare chicken.

I usually take the meaty parts of my chicken, not just the breast but the thighs as well, then I cut them into small squares and ready to marinate.

My marinade consists of a mixture of salt, curry, turmeric, ginger, garlic, and a some vinegar. I put these seasonings in a bag, mix them up, and then pop it in my chicken squares. I leave everything there marinating for a few hours, even from one day to the next it's much better.

I prepare the ginger and turmeric rhizomes at home. I grow these plants and then when I harvest I make a paste out of these rhizomes with a little vegetable oil and keep them for preservation. I use them in my kitchen on a daily basis.

After several hours of marinating, I place a few tablespoons of wheat flour into the marinade bag with the chicken so that a thin film of flour forms around all parts of the chicken.

And I end up frying my chicken pieces in hot oil and voila… it can be eaten alone or with rice and with a spinach and potato salad.

Hola queridas damas.

Me gusta el pollo frito. Prepararlo para mi familia es un verdadero placer. Esto no es una receta, es una breve descripción de como preparo mi pollo.

Normalmente tomo las partes carnosas de mi pollo. No solo el pecho, sino también los muslos. Luego los corto en cuadritos y listo para marinar.

Mi adobo consiste en una mezcla de sal, curry, cúrcuma, jengibre, ajo y un poco de vinagre. Pongo estos condimentos en una bolsa, los mezclo y luego pongo mis cuadritos de pollo. Dejo todo allí macerando unas horas, incluso de un día para otro está mucho mejor.

Preparo los rizomas de jengibre y cúrcuma en casa. Cultivo estas plantas y luego, cuando las cosecho, hago una pasta de estos rizomas con un poco de aceite vegetal y las guardo para su conservación. Los uso en mi cocina a diario.

Después de varias horas de marinar, coloco unas cucharadas de harina de trigo en la bolsa de adobo con el pollo para que se forme una fina película de harina alrededor de todas las partes del pollo.
Y termino friendo mis trozos de pollo en aceite caliente. Y listo… se puede comer solo o con arroz y una ensalada de espinacas y papas.

Me gustaría saber si te gusta el pollo de esta manera o si alguna vez lo han preparado así.

Looks delicious, and for some reason my kids prefer Tandoori Curry Chicken rather than fried chicken and not the other way around. 🤷‍♀
