And so yesterday was International Women's Day. Well I expected to write a little thing about mothers but my phone tripped off due to lack of power supply. But I don't think it's too late after all, mothers are to be celebrated everyday because they are rare gem.

Growing into a young woman you experienced physical changes, breast growing, hips enlarging, hairs growing rapidly on the pubic etc.
At some point you were wondering how to cope with this changes and then boom you had your period;
Most times this period comes with acute pains, some times it doesn't;
Sometimes it comes with its own discomfort, and some time its just too tiring.

Carrying another human for nine month or more in your womb isn't easy;
Most time this human could be one, two, three, four or even more;
Your beautiful body sizes changes automatically;
The surface of your stomach or belly seems to have more stretch mark designed all over it;
The discomfort that comes with pregnancy is a story you might likely not want to share, because its just out if thus world;
Breast feeding that human you brought forth isn't a days job;
Sleeping late in the night just to make sure the human you brought into the world sleeps is something you should receive applaud for but funny enough you don't get it;
Making sure the same human feels comfortable;

Watching the human grow into a matured adult is just more than patience itself, its a job on it own, a job you aren't paid for, a job you which to enjoy its fruits as time goes on.
Satisfying both the father of the human you brought into the world and making sure he is happy is another job you might likely not be paid for.

What of having to pick up a job, or selling at the market or having your own business, what of working so hard to put food on the table most times, what of cooking, keeping the house clean and making sure you satisfy your husband, children, in-laws and your family members?
Oh what of your duty post in church all these you have to balance it all least your home may likely crumble.

As times goes on, your flat belly or stomach refuses to go back to its normal size;
Your sweet body size automatically refuses to shrink back;
What of your fine pointed breast its becomes flapping, weak, and falling?

Oh after passing through all these you are being called weak;
Who says you are weak?
Show me that person then I will show him the strength in you.

Woman thou art strong, thanks for standing in the gap, thanks for breeching the gap between the world and humanity, I could go on and on to pour encomiums on you but let me stop here till we meet again next year but for the mean time I want to say HAPPY INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY to all the women in the world, including me🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
