My Life In Color on Blue Monday (9/13/21) | HIGHLIGHTING THE COLOR FOR THE DAY
Hello everyone and welcome to My Life In Color - Highlighting the Color For the Day (#mylifeincolor). When you think about it, color is all around us, in nature, under water, in landscape, and in the sky. We only have to slow down from our busy lives and take a look around us.
Today is Monday, and over the years I've heard the phrase "blue or stormy Monday". But it doesn't have to be. I think that in all things, especially colors, you can see both sadness and joy. I'm focusing on locating images with the Color: blue or any of its shades. My choice of colors are found in my color chart below in which I assigned a different day of the week with a particular color or color blend.
In locating the color for today, I scoured through numerous photographs from my personal inventory that I captured. Many of them, I've already shared. Hopefully, I can find one not yet posted. Also, I love drawing images with various digital software program.
Here's my selection I'd like to share :
Personal Photographs
This first photo is a favorite of mine since it captured time spent at my favorite location...the beach. Sitting there watching the seagulls and the lull of the tide coming ashore is so relaxing. Feeding the seagulls is one my granddaughter's favorite activities.
Often times, catching a clear, blue sky evades me. However, the clouds keep the intense heat at bay while enjoying the sunshine.
Always plenty of activity to see, especially others going about their beach enjoyment. This photo captured beach goers taking their children to Pleasure Pier on Galveston Island. The children just love the amusement rides. The pier houses several restaurants to enjoy.
Digital Drawings
Apophysis 2.09
My favorite digital drawing program is Apophysis 2.09. A fractal is an infinite mathematical shape that is represented by coordinates. It's one of numerous free, open-source, fractal rendering programs. The images you create are awesome. What I love about it is that all designs are free to interpretation.
In this particular fractal, what does the short pattern on the end of the circle look like? A string perhaps. Could it be a string decoration that, once you pull, it's perfect for a hanging party decor? Or could it be the fireworks at the end of that will bring a burst of color if handled correctly? The possibilities are endless.
Bomomo
Bomomo is an online drawing Windows software that produces abstract art. The unique drawing tools are fun to work with. Each tool provides a set of specific patterns with varying colors that change on different moves of your mouse. If you want to fully grasp how powerful the tools are, I advise you to practice. You'll be able to produce images in the form of circles, diagrams, hexagons, and other patterns.
Nice abstract image.
Thanks for your visit. I hope you like my images I shared today. If you'd like to know more about the digital drawing programs I use, just let me know. Also, what do you think of the fractal and abstract images? What do they represent for you?

You need to stake more BEER (24 staked BEER allows you to call BEER one time per day)
You are right in saying that we can see both sadness and joy in colors. I choose to see joy!
There is so much joy in the blue color, such as the joy you have walking with your grandchild by the beach. Beautiful blue skies!
A nice abstract image, btw... Bomomo is it?
Hello @silversaver888. The weather was gorgeous as we fed the seagulls. Did you see how she's almost tall as I am, at just 12 years. Or maybe I'm shrinking, lolol.
Yes, Bonomo a simple site with not a lot of flair. Just the tools you need. Try it, it gives me great relaxation. If I can't quite figure out something, I'll hit the middle button and start over, or try to erase.
