Tattoos and ghosts: themes of Ladies Of Hive contest #66

Hello friends of the @LadiesOfHive community. I am very happy to be able to participate for the second time in a row in the weekly contest. For this #66 I will answer briefly the two questions posed. Below, I start with the first one.
What tattoo would I get?
If I had to get a tattoo right now, without a doubt, I would choose a pet print, particularly a kitten print. Tattoos are not my favorite. In fact, I would think twice before tattooing my skin. However, I have seen minimalist designs that look great and that, perhaps, I would even dare to choose them if I made the decision to get a tattoo.
I tell you that about a year ago I had a very spoiled kitten, even though I was not a lover of closeness with pets. The bond was so strong that when I had to separate from her it caused me a lot of sadness and it was worse when my mom told me that she had been found dead. Apparently an animal had attacked her, leaving her mortally wounded. Until recently every time I saw her pictures I cried for her, it was a painful loss indeed.
So, if I had to get a tattoo right now I would choose a kitty footprint.
Presence of a ghost?
Regarding the second question, about believing that I have ever encountered a ghost, the answer is maybe yes. Or maybe, sometime a ghost encountered me.
When I was about 13 years old, shortly after my grandmother's physical departure and after I started living with my parents, I felt someone's presence at a certain time.
That day I was inside my grandmother's house where we continued to live after my parents and siblings moved in with me. I was in one of the bedrooms, my mom was outside and the others had gone out to the fields. The only person there was me. However, despite being alone I felt the presence of someone next to me, who let out the sound of breathing. I thought it was very strange to hear that, and I immediately went out in a panic to tell my mother. I would not really categorize that experience as an encounter with a ghost, although I know that it was not "normal".
There is one experience that can be terrifying. In that house, since my childhood, during the night there used to be a very strange noise. At the back of the house, just behind the bedroom, there was a noise as if it was caused by a pewter cup turned upside down and dragged along the brick wall. A few months ago when I went to visit my parents I heard that noise again, although it doesn't scare us anymore, we still don't know what it is due to and what would be the explanation of why it has manifested itself for so many years.

Hola amigos y amigas de la comunidad @LadiesOfHive. Estoy muy contenta de poder participar por segunda vez consecutiva en el concurso semanal. Para este #66 contestaré de manera breve las dos preguntas planteadas. A continuación, inicio con la primera.
¿Qué posible tatuaje me haría?
Si tuviera que hacerme un tatuaje ahora mismo, sin duda, eligiría la huella de una mascota, particularmente la huella de un gatito. Los tatuajes no son mis preferidos. De hecho, lo pensaría dos veces antes de tatuar mi piel. Sin embargo, he visto diseños minimalistas que se ven muy bien y que, quizá, hasta me atrevería a elegirlos en caso de tomar esa decisión de tatuarme.
Les comento que hace un año aproximadamente tuve una gatita muy consentida, pese a que no era amante de la cercanía con las mascotas. El vínculo fue tan fuerte que, cuando tuve que separarme de ella me causó mucha tristeza y fue peor cuando mi mamá me contó que la habían encontrado muerta. Al parecer un animal la atacó dejándola herida de muerte. Hasta hace poco cada vez que veía sus fotos lloraba por ella, fue una pérdida dolorosa en realidad.
Así, si tuviera que tatuarme ahora mismo eligiría una huellita de gatito.
¿Presencia de un fantasma?
Respecto a la segunda pregunta, sobre creer que alguna vez me he encontrado con un fantasma, la respuesta es tal vez si. O quizá, alguna vez un fantasma me encontró a mi.
Cuando tenía como 13 años, poco tiempo después de la partida física de mi abuelita y de haber empezado a vivir con mis padres sentí la presencia de alguien en un momento determinado.
Aquel día estaba en el interior de la casa materna (de mi abuela) donde continuamos viviendo luego de que mis padres y hermanos se mudaran a vivir allí conmigo. Me encontraba en una de las habitaciones, mi mamá estaba afuera y los demás habían salido al campo. La única persona que se encontraba allí era yo. Sin embargo, pese a estar sola sentí la presencia de alguien a mi lado, que dejó escapar el sonido de la respiración. Me pareció muy raro escuchar eso y salí de inmediato asustada a contarle a mi mamá. La verdad no catalogaría aquella experiencia como el encuentro con un fantasma, aunque se que aquello no fue "normal".
Hay una experiencia que si puede resultar aterradora. En esa casa, desde mi infancia, durante la noche solía manifestarse un ruido muy extraño. Se escuchaba en la parte de atrás de la vivienda, justo detrás del dormitorio, un ruido como causado por una tasa de peltre volteada al revés que era arrastrada por la pared de ladrillos. Hace unos meses que fui a visitar a mis padres volví a escuchar ese ruido, aunque ya no nos asusta aún seguimos sin descifrar a qué se debe y cuál sería la explicación del por qué durante tantos años se ha manifestado.

I wouldn't get a tattoo either, but if I did, I think I like your choice!
Sometimes things that go 'bump' in the night can have perfectly normal explanations, and sometimes not! I'd be curious to see if an answer could be found for the pewter cup noice you've heard.

That's right.
Regarding pets, this is the first time I have affinity with cats, I didn't like them before, but that little one was very special.... Maybe the circumstances of quarantine taught me something.

Interesting how these two completely separate questions evolved to similar answers. Your lost kitten and your lost grandmother. I am sorry for both of these sad events.
While I am not a fan of tattoos in general, I do like the cat's paw idea. It's simple and clean, and with meaning that will unlikely fade over time.

Uy que miedo sentir la respiración de alguien al lado, sin duda yo tambien saldria corriendo jeje. Que interesante que ese sonido se siga repitiendo una y otra vez despues de tanto tiempo, hay que buscar la averiguar de que se trata y resolver el misterio. Buen post , saludos.
