My Interest and Hobbies

I am kind and loving with a good sense of humor, I love children and will cease every opportunity to play with kids, also helped my mum in raising other kids, a young girl who learnt how to tie a napkin at a tender age of 10 😊😊
It has always been a dream for me to own an orphanage in the near future where I could play with every lost kid and encourage the needy.

I love music and my favorite is Temporary and life for rent by Dido, I also like surfing the net, thanks to hive for all the communities like foodie that bring the know how on making delicious meals. I love good food and love to explore anything tasty and good looking 😁

Career and Education.

A microbiology graduate from the university of Ilorin who ventured into skill acquisition at a fashion school. I decided to start up a career with fashion using my mums manual sewing machine which she bought as a asset far back in the 90's hoping she could learn to sew, she got busy with quilting and farming coupled with been a full house wife with little time to pursue that dream.
Her dream was mine as well and I thought I could do this for her.

Farming

Farming was another thing I learnt from my parents, my mother grows a garden with all the fresh and healthy vegetables we needed, aside the garden, we have our subsistent farm where we plant both grains and tubers to feed the family, at a point am we only purchased seasonings from the market because we had all the grains and tubers in our farms.
After school I worked both in the farm and at my fashion school.

My work as a Volunteer

I had alot of health challenges growing up as a child because of a blood disorder but I never gave up on me, am not sad because am starting up my life and career at an age people will call "late" but am grateful for the opportunity to live out my dreams and every new day is a blessing, My horoscope will point me in the right direction and every limitation will give way to breakthrough that I believe.
I decided to volunteer at a sickle cell foundation where we do genetic counselling, help and encourage people living with sickle cell to live their best and productive lives.
Living in good health is a major priority and there are alot of people out there suffering from diseases but lack a voice to call for help, a word of encouragement can go along way for some.

Wow what a brilliant introduction post and a beautiful human being you are.

I offer you my welcome here and so look forward getting to know you better as we have many things in common (except sewing, I am sooo bad at it no matter how much I try!🙃🤣)

I have upvoted you post 100% and would like to reblog it into the charity community on Hive to if you don't mind. 😊

I look forward to speaking with you soon and in the mean time, take care and be safe.

You are more than welcome and unfortunately for some reason it won't let me cross posts, and unfortunately yours is not the only one that the Hive refused to do, so I'm going to have to ask the brains trust to see why and how I can fix it.

Otherwise yes, I do have other talents and one of them is buying clothes...but second hand clothes from opshops...

I wish I could sew though...

Lovely to talk to you and I hope that we speak again really soon.

I will let you know when I have been able to cross post your intro in the charity community!

In the mean time stay safe and well. 😊

That is a great introduction! I am from a large Catholic family also. I have 6 brothers and 3 sisters. Of course, being on the older end of the girls, I helped my mom with the younger ones. That is just the way it was done. I believe it made us stronger. :))

I am very familiar with Ilorin, there are many (mostly men) that post from there. They have even brought me, at least virtually, to the markets there. I love the abundance of food that is grown in Nigeria. Such fertile land. I applaud your parents for providing for their children by way of their own garden, instilling homesteading traits of survival, if not verbally, just by actions.

I loved your post! It is wonderful to get to know you and I can see your heart is big, loving those around you.

Hive on!
