2️⃣ How can we keep the door open for donations from other countries so Venezuela can buy blankets and flashlights for the child survivors who are in a difficult situation?

What has happened in Venezuela is very unfortunate. So many lives devastated, people losing their life long earnings, their homes, their families. Infrastructure turning to rubbles and mass destruction. The after effects of these catastrophic events last for a long time. They do not end with the end of it. In these moments, the world must come together and help each other. But not everyone does that, for e.g. I take my own-self, I am sitting in other corner of the world and I have not done anything for the victims.

Yes, but if I get an opportunity to do something for the volunteers who are giving their help on ground zero, then I will surely like to take care of them in some or the other way. I would see what they need the most and based on that provide help. Sometimes we try to help in our own way but that exactly may not be required by them. So, it is best to understand their needs and then provide help. Sometimes the help can be financial or sometimes it can be something else, like they may need to bypass some regulations to take certain actions for the victims, this may need follow up with authorities and things like that. Each volunteer need may be different. Sometimes they might need physical help and sometimes emotional. Understanding what they need and then doing that will make sense for them and for the cause.

Sending cross country donations is another one challenge. Some Countries have very strict banking regulations. In such time if each government can make special provisions, then that will be very helpful for people of each country to giving financial assistance. A lot of people want to do, but they do not know how to do it. And sometimes there is lack of transparency in the financial aid and people are skeptical that whatever financial aid they are providing is it actually reaching to the right source, or that the money is getting eaten up in between by the bureaucrats, which is very common.

These days almost everyone wants to help, but how to help becomes a bigger question and more importantly if the help given is genuinely reaching to the victims. Big institutions give big donations and yet sometimes we see that these donations are nor fully reaching to the victims. Government policies should be transparent, easy and there should be accountability of donations received. This will increase confidence of people to come forward to donate.
