When Mother Nature Strikes Back
For the first time in my life, I experienced something so scary. Scary, maybe for some people, although personally, I went through 3 emotional stages. Fear of something happening to me and not having anyone to look after my son, worrying if he and my mum were ok, and then once I knew everything was ok with them, complete laughter. I still can't get it out of my mind though, the storm. As a fan of apocalyptic and horror movies, it was weird. How is it possible for a storm, to cross more than 100-200 km, in less than a minute? We've had hurricane winds before, but check out the video. The clouds, the sky, even the sea. I couldn't, take a picture outside because we were too busy running for our lives. Tables, chairs, cabinets and even roofs were flying all over. In our attempts to salvage some of the restaurant's accoutrements, a chair even hit me and I was locked in the restroom for a bit. It was not a pleasant experience - 😂 please always flush the toilet.

There was, a day or two ago, a news story, about a chemical release, on the coast. Is it possible, that it was formed from that? The news has a habit of hiding much of the truth, but when it comes to mother nature one thing is clear - she always strikes back. People, however, were not stressed by all of this, they did not think about whether there were victims or someone hurt, the important thing is that they themselves survived. It was as if they were just waiting for the storm to pass so they could go around the shops and restaurants. Sirens could be heard in the distance, many people were stuck in the streets because of fallen trees, trying to get to their loved ones... but fun and pleasure are more important to human nature. Maybe even if the street workers had done their job and cut away the branches that hang over the walkways and streets, all this wouldn't have happened. One cannot blame human nature, only God can punish... even through mother nature.

Wow...that storm was moving in fast! You could see the relative movement of the clouds when you had the building in view too. and those sideways leaning plants - crazy! I'm glad you remained relatively safe, Darth, and that you mom and son are ok too... take care this evening. Apologies for laugh first huh.... why won't anyone flush the toilet after each use....I think it's because it's not personal that's why. Even at that, that habit sucks alot phew.....

Now this is not funny at all human nature can be responsive to many attacks and it's so disastrous watching it....I would cry if it was me honestly... because I would be thinking where would I be after this...💓

A chair or something hit me and I fell. The thing slammed the toilet door and I was trapped inside. 🤣
It was funny once I realized everything was okay at home, because instead of running, some of us were making videos, the others were rescuing "cruet stands" I think was the word - before running for our lifes 😂😂 I guess we were more scared what the boss will say 🤣🤣🤣🤣
