Welcome to Our Seventies Party 🕺🏻

Hello, Groovy People! Last night, masks on and social distancing I attended a seventies party.

It was, actually, a themed birthday party & lots of fun —- as you can see from the pictures, there was terrific attention to detail to make it authentic.

Even the birthday cake had a disco ball 😀

As an example of the sensory feast on display, here’s a pineapple that I helped decorate with tomatoes, mozzarella & basel.

Appetizers, too, were a work of art & contributed to the overall aesthetic.

I decided to go as an Egyptian farmer who discovered disco (& wore my dad’s tie from the seventies).

My wife was just fab in short shorts & a long pink overcoat ♥️

It all came together when night fell & we hit the dance floor. The light show was real trippy, there was even a smoke machine and, of course, the 70’s music was funky to get down to.

It felt good to shake it up, after a strawberry daiquiri or two.
