Reflecting on my heart's desire!

I want to be a man who chooses his words wisely and speaks them kindly.
I want the words that I do not utter to speak as strongly as the words I do.

I want to be a man of courage and integrity who others are willing to follow into battle.
I want to embrace confidence, but reject ego, so that I am willing to be lead by another.

I want to stand firm in my convictions and allow others to do the same.
I want to fight for the essentials and give grace to others who do not agree on the peripherals.

I want to pursue grace, peace, love, and kindness.
I want to flee from evil, temptation, hate, and malice.

I will fail - daily, constantly.
I will waver - but may those times become less frequent.
I will love - my wife, my kiddos, my neighbors, and friends.
I will show kindness - even to those who are unkind.

I will pursue freedom and point others to a hope of a better future!
