Hacking Ledger wallets on the Internet

After the Binance platform stopped being hacked, the governor of Ledger was hacked by some hackers.

On Twitter, the customer posted screenshots of records transferred to discussions that allegedly interact with the "aggregate knowledge base" of Ledger Wallet clients.

The images show messages, phone numbers, and addresses of the wallet's customers.

The organization "RECORD" responded, explaining that the distributed information was from information that had been hacked recently and was not new. It also expressed:

We're still researching so far, but early signs reveal to us that this may definitely be the core of the ancient knowledge base dating back to pre-June 2020.

Is Ledger Safe?

If Ledger neglects to keep customer data secure, can they really be trusted to store computing resources?

It remains a mystery whether this was another attack or a dumping ground from the primary attack that occurred in June 2020.

The initial episode caused distribution and disclosure of up to 1 million customer email addresses.

After the hack, the fraudsters were focusing on wallet Ledger clients with phishing attacks, as some fraudsters sought to entice customers to download bogus Ledger software or reveal recovery phrases.

Surprising misfortunes:

The source addressed Ledger's victim as cryptocurrencies that were placed away from his tool were acquired and removed by several unapproved exchanges causing a shortfall of around $ 16,000 in late 2019.

According to what the injured man told the previous source:

The wallet is locked, protected by biometric expression, in another safe.

It was not broken into or accessed, so I was shocked to find that my digital money stored was depleted by three exchanges that I had not made.

Understanding that there was little chance of recovering the coins that were removed, the casualty arrived at Ledger to try to figure out how he might end up noticing others.

The organization was indifferent, it mainly conveyed a conciliatory feeling and was in no way prepared to explore deceptive exchanges.

With more data leaking close to home, Ledger's customers have to be surprisingly wary about potential attacks that will now actually start targeting them.
