CargoX platform announced in a new statement stating that the Indian government has relied on it in the task of processing administrative documents of a commercial nature as well as handling bill of lading, thus increasing the agenda of digital transformation in the field.

CargoX platform is based on Ethereum Blockchain and Portall infotainment system.

According to the same statement, the Indian government is working to digitize bills of lading and some other business documents, and documentation of the blockchain is among the lost necessities in the country.

The CargoX platform is designed to provide specialized services called “P-CaSo” built by Portall Infosystems systems, and Ethereum blockchain technology is used for transparent and secure BDT document transfer.

According to CargoX, the Indian port community system has grown by 300% in two years, with Portall being given the green light to upgrade computers.

The main objective of the modernization process was to eliminate health risks and obstacles that may arise while dealing with paperwork and export and import operations for shipment at ports.

The importance of digitization has long been emphasized by the trade organizations of the Federation of Indian Logistics Association (FILA), which has given the government of India a push to start assessing the need and the tools needed to meet it that the government has initiated by stimulating electronic documentation in all commercial transactions across India.

Now what Portall has to offer has been tested and it has been confirmed that the CargoX platform for transferring documents via blockchain is well suited to achieving electronic freight bills.

CargoX and Portall Infosystems have signed an agreement to digitalize all operations involved in bill of lading and business document transfer.

The CargoX platform can now be accessed by relevant stakeholders through the P-CaSo services market.

Portall has developed the Indian Ports Community system for managing commercial documents for all major ports in India, handling about 60% of the movement of goods in the country, thus reducing the hardship caused by dealing with paperwork, 19 Indian ports are now using this system.

Stefan Cookman, CEO and founder of CargoX, stated that the company is happy to assist the commercial and shipping transactions industry because it is a major driver of the country's economy.

On his part, Manish Jaiswal, Head of Portall Infosystems, told CargoX and Portall that they could be considered new and emerging institutions but they have the experience needed to change the shipping industry in India.

He said CargoX is value-driven and works towards transparency with cost and time innovations.

Globally, Ethereum blockchain platforms are certified by many companies, where Google and a host of other large platforms have been reported to take advantage of the potential of Ethereum.
