🔥 Leofinance traffic is growing! THE FLIPPENING??
Hello!
Some days ago I saw that the Leofinance website leofinance.io was ranked below the 100,000 mark on the Alexa rank. For those who don't know what the Alexa rank is about, it is one of the most reliable ranks for website traffic. It is one of the most commonly used to measure traffic growth and other kind of online metrics.
To my surprise I saw that in just some days it keep growing and it is actually ranked number #87,322. It is also ranked #827 in Venezuela! I can't imagine how the numbers will be when we get ranked 1,000 in the United States.
And then I decided to check also what hive.blog and peakd.com (the 2 most used front-ends) to access HIVE content, and they both are also growing in terms of traffic!
That's good news!
We usually focus on new accounts using the platforms, but it is not the only metric we should track. Traffic is a powerful metric, and Leofinance.io uses this traffic to generate Ad-revenue and burn some LEO tokens. This creates a floor with the price, and is really healthy for the token price.
Both front-ends, peakd and hive.blog are not taking advantage at all this traffic. From my point of view this should be on the TOP list of improvements. It just doesn't make sense to not get this FREE MONEY with a couple of ads on the website.
They actually rank 32,000 and 23,000 respectively, and they are growing. This could be translated to a bunch of money to fund development or be used to buy HIVE to the market.
The FLIPPENING!
I am expecting Leofinance.io to surpass this both front-ends at some point in time. I will call it THE FLIPPENING.
If the commitment in development continues the same path, traffic will increase 100%. And it will increase at a faster pace than the other front-ends.
I can't wait to see all this money from Ad-revenue used to burn tokens! 🔥

It all depends upon the number of users and features that are brought out.
We know a lot more is being added to Leofinance which gives people more to utilize. It also helps newer users be excited about all that is offered.

What are your thought on having more traffic that the other Hive front-ends?

I certainly can see Leofinance.io having the most traffic of any front end on Hive, at least in the "blogging" realm (although Leofinance will be rapidly moving away from a blogging platform).
That said, I really dont see LEO being higher than HIVE in marketcap on a sustained basis. Hive will pick up steam at some point and really jump.
Leofinance is paving the way for others tribes to follow. Once there is a breakthrough that proves the proof of concept, it is easy for others to get excited.
As for LEO, if we keep the activity and engagement up, more will be drawn here. Nobody likes a dead platform when they show up. If people see a lot of comments and back and forth among the users, they will likely join in.
