I know, I know... it is really a very short-time frame...but still it is so shocking...
There are many moments on which BITCOIN seems to move independently of the stock markets but, usually, it is not the case indeed.
Have a look to the chart on which I overlapped BTC on top of the DJI

DOW has opened the market this morning with a sudden drop, at the very same moment BITCOIN felt around 200 USD and the rest of altcoins did the same, not all of them, STELLAR keeps mooning...

The question is, in order for BITCOIN to rise after-halving, is it necessary that the stock markets do the same?

This is something that still has to be demonstrated on BTC...

We used to think that BITCOIN is a "Reserve of Value" but, for the moment, I don't think we have enough data to confirm that "property"...

With GOLD the things are different, we have lots of historical data and we can assure that, when stocks crashes, GOLD used to do very well:

I really hope BITCOIN would be as decoupled as the GOLD market is against the stocks market... but this we will only know in the Long term future.

I still consider that BTC is connected with the world's situation and unfortunately as long as we have this Corona pandemic there won't be any bull run. I also don't believe that large institutions are at the point of influencing the market that much, and don't really want that to happen. I still believe in the power of retail investors but those are shaken by the world crisis right now.
