Every day different things happen to us, a few months ago the pet of the house died in an accident, it ran away and as it was already old it was run over by a car, that was very devastating for my brother who loves dogs, he had 4 dogs, a whole canine madness.

In the midst of his sadness he said he was not going to have more dogs at home, we knew it was a lie because he loves dogs, especially when he rescues them from the street, he dedicates himself body and soul to them, he even puts them to sleep in his room, my mom scolds him to find a place to sleep other than his room, but well there is nothing to do.

This past week I accompanied him to the gas station to fill up with gas, there we heard a very faint cry, it was a beautiful white dog with a peculiar characteristic, a spot on her right eye, she must be about 5 days old, she had not even opened her eyes when I saw my brother I said he was going to rescue her and so he took her home, at first I thought she would not survive, but my brother has become her mother, he gives her milk every 2 or 3 hours with an injector and I put her in a box to sleep in,

He named it alfalfa because it reminds him of the dog from an old "gang" series where the kids had a dog with a spot in its eye, it has been a few days and the dog has already opened its eyes and is taking steps my brother is happy with his new pet I think both complement each other my brother is happy and alfalfa has a hope of survival so far everything is fine when all is lost a light appears at the end of the tunnel that gives you the strength to continue well for my brother
