Picture a day - mushroom harvest
(Edited)
A little trip to the local pine forest inbetween the non-stop rains, and we have a little harvest, enough for cooking a few dishes. Of edibles, we picked up only Russula. The rest were unsuitable for foraging - but quite foto-friendly.
The funny thing is - we walked across the known spot that was already screened once before us, and then I searched it again for the 3rd time on the same day. No surprise, each time a new shrooms were discovered. We have this wise saying in Russian, "My mushroom is always awaiting for me in the forest".

Nice photo @qwerrie! I love mushrooms and they really look good in your photo specially that red or orange one near the leaf.
thanks for a feedback!
those Russula are a plain mushrooms, but have bright caps, and cn be spectacular.
if you like mushrooms, pay attention to the FUngi Lovers community -- there is a lot of cool stuff there. share us yours, as well! @gvincentjosephm
I wish I could buy some good camera so I could share cool pictures too. There's not a lot of mushrooms here where I live but thanks letting me know about the "FUngi Lovers community". I'll try to check it out after work. ( The typical 9 - 5 job ) =D
hey, about the camera and good photos: it is photographer's work, not the camera only :) getting a supercool and expensive camera will improve your pics, ofc, but will not make them great, only your work, passion, energy, time spent, sight-seeing, will do. so.... it is up to you ofc, but if you are not keen on watching the life around / saving images -- I cannot advise you to get a camera. strange, but fact: smartphones today are so nifty! the can do the 'job done' and have more benefits for you, then camera. adding a 10 euro set of different lens designed to improve smart' camera shots and intended to cover some most needed cases (wide-angle, macro, fish-eye, tele, etc) will improve your portfolio greatly. I really advise you to go this way, dont venture into expensive cameras. blessings!
yeah, actually you're right. I see nowadays that many people are using smartphones for their photos. Thanks for the good advice. I'm not planning to buy expensive camera yet though it's my goal to own one in the future. For now, I can surely buy some good smartphone with awesome specs. for some photo experimenting. =)
