Anne, I totally share your feelings! so may times I salivated at others pics of some tropical picturesque tiny tree frogs swimming in mushroom cap ponds! and now my luck have changed -- I witnessed the same plot at home, with my ordinary, plain green froggie! so.. you have the same nature environment as me, that means you can have same bit of luck one day! :P

I'm really hoping someday I will see a little frog sitting on mushroom. A toad on a toadstool...🤗🙂 !!!!

So far it's leaf litter, slime, mold and flies.

that is not a big deal! :0) but what about the slug or snail? snails can do miracles, i mean they turn unintresting photo into a lovely and intresting one, immediately.
this summer i am finding toads (sometimes little, sometimes big), but this happens rather near the gutter, than near the shroom. my frind @sketch.and.jam was lucky to find toads a few times exactly camping around the shroom! he states, they like camping around shrooms cause they hunt for little fliers, who, in their turn, love to sit on the mushroom caps as well.

that is a well-known favourite plot, seen it so many times at other photographers pics! and always was salutating, hehe. there are no tree fungi around where I live.. there are pines, aspens and green frogs. but yesterday my luck have changed. and I spent with this froggie 15 minutes, we almost kissed :P

Yes, after almost an hour photosession I kissed her, and the frog turned into a little toad. I put her into the safe, and next day we spent one more hour, taking even more pics. Simple as that! I didnt kiss the toad, tho - just let her do the sitting-posing job and go away... I wish I knew what else she could transform to!
