[Eng. - Esp.]A Sunday in Contact with Nature. - Un Domingo en Contacto con la Naturaleza.

Sunday was the day of Love and Friendship (Valentine's Day). In previous years, we used to take a little trip to the beautiful beaches of Morrocoy here in Venezuela, but this year we prefer not to go anywhere due to the pandemic.

El domingo fue el día del Amor y la Amistad (Día de San Valentín). En años anteriores, solíamos dar un pequeño viajecito a las hermosas playas de Morrocoy aquí en Venezuela, pero este año preferimos no ir a ningún lugar concurrido debido a la pandemia

We decided to go to a lagoon that is close to my house but that was abandoned and there was a lot of forest (grass-weeds) and it was difficult to walk around it. At the end of last month the walkways were cleared and once again visitors can enjoy this beautiful place.

Decidimos ir a una Laguna que queda cerca de mi casa pero que estaba en abandono y había mucho monte (hierba-maleza) y era difícil transitar alrededor de ella. A finales del mes pasado fueron desmalezadas las caminerías y nuevamente los visitantes pueden disfrutar de este hermoso lugar.

The walk was very relaxing, since we could breathe fresh air, which in these times I have longed for. Leaving the house with a mask is not so pleasant and there we were enjoying that cool breeze for several hours, we walked and I had the opportunity to photograph some flowers and the beautiful landscape.

El paseo fue muy relajante, ya que pudimos respirar aire fresco, el cual en estos tiempos lo he anhelado. Salir de casa con mascara no es tan agradable y allí estuvimos disfrutando de esa fresca brisa por varias horas, caminamos y tuve la oportunidad de fotografiar algunas flores y el hermoso paisaje.

In this lagoon you can see black and white herons (they were far away and I couldn't take a close photo of them), there are also ducks and fish. Herons love to dive and hunt fish. There are many birds, turtles and babas (small crocodiles).

En esta laguna se pueden ver garzas blancas y negras (estaban lejos y no pude tomarles foto de cerca), también hay patos y peces. A las garzas les encanta sumergirse y cazar peces. Hay muchos pajaros, tortugas y babas (cocodrilos pequeños).

When we arrived there was a bit of sun but then the sky clouded over and it seemed like it was going to rain, however we stayed a while longer and the breeze was very cold. It was then that we left the place because the girls were cold.

Cuando llegamos había un poco de sol pero luego el cielo se nubló y parecía que iba a llover, sin embargo nos quedamos un rato más y la brisa estuvo muy fría. fue entonces que nos fuimos del lugar porque las niñas tenían frío.

The truth is that we spent a different day, we had time that we did not go to a beautiful place and most importantly, we shared together as a family. Unique and irreplaceable moments :) I would have liked to be able to photograph the sunset, since there are beautiful sunsets but since it was cloudy I could not do it, I hope to return again and capture a beautiful sunset to share with you.

La verdad es que pasamos un día diferente, teníamos tiempo que no íbamos a un lugar bonito y lo más importante, compartir juntos en familia. Momentos únicos e irremplazables :) Me hubiese gustado poder fotografiar el atardecer, ya que allí se aprecian atardeceres hermosos pero como estaba nublado no pude hacerlo, espero volver nuevamente y capturar un hermoso atardecer para compartir con ustedes.
