Amazing Nature Community: Partial observations – V
(Google translate from Czech)
There will be no bear garlic (Allium ursinum) yet. It's a spring herb and now it's still Winter :-)
If you have read the previous articles, you know that since December last year I have been regularly observing the neighboring pond and its tributary.
When announcing the extraordinary Thematic Challenge - Over time, I realized that it is not enough just to announce a long-term topic, but it is also necessary to continuously "revive" the idea of this topic. Of course, best with references on continuous monitoring :-)
In the last article we looked at the pond and today we will look at the tributary. The small GIF includes photos from 28.1. to 10.2.2021.
1.2. there was a dramatic change in the weather and basically one night the "snow" disappeared. The level of the stream also rose. Another change in the weather occurred on 6.2., When it started to freeze again and 7.2. new snow fell.
You will surely admit that in such a situation it is difficult to find a spring herb from the introductory sentence :-).
I am an avid observer of events in nature. Because I live next to the forest, I have plenty of opportunities to do so. The topic OVER TIME is a way to share my observations with you.
And by the way. Have you found your Ent? I found this sleeping bear today :-)
