A walk through the nature of my town (Arboces-Spain)

(Edited)

Good morning,

Is there anything better than a walk in nature?

Every weekend I try to go for a walk in the village where I grew up when I go to visit my mother.

This village called Arboces with only 200 inhabitants is located a couple of kilometers from the beach of Castello where you can enjoy the sound of the sea and the peace of being this beach in a little touristy area and that now in winter does not feel much like bathing in the cold waters of the Cantabrian Sea.

After going to this beach as every Sunday, I went back to the village which has an agricultural and farming character, so there are large tracts of meadows and pastures for cattle that abound in the region of Asturias.

On my way back home, I stopped for a few moments to look at these two beautiful Angus bulls that my neighbor has had for a year and that he takes care of with care in a 100% natural environment.

Photography submitted to #pobphotocontest

Although these bulls have a high monetary value, my neighbor has decided to take care of them until their natural death. He has explained to me that initially he had bought them for meat production purposes, but after more than two years with them he has decided not to sacrifice them, as with them he avoids having to mow his farm from time to time and one of his young nieces has also grown fond of them.

I hope you have enjoyed this little tour of my childhood village and the natural environment of sea and meadows that I can enjoy every weekend.

Best regards.

Hey, what a good idea from your neighbor.
The truth is that they are super big bulls and they look very beautiful together with what surrounds them.

They are noble and tame, fortunately.

The truth is that it is a delight to contemplate them

You´re right, there´s nothing better than a walk through nature. I absolutely love that your neighbor is not going to kill those beautiful bulls, I don´t eat meat and I´m happy when I see other people treating animals like someone and not as something, please tell him, thanks for that. Have a nice week ;-)
