Icelandic landscapes

Good Sunday evening folks!

I am moved to temporary home for now and I already said goodbye to my old flat. On Friday I expect handover of our new house will happen. Can’t wait, but I will have to wait about a month to start living there as kitchen delivery is expected for last days of March, even though I ordered it more than a month ago. Well, they say it is worth waiting on good things to happen.
We will be moving a bit outside of the capital where we lived so far, Ljubljana, but we will still be just few kilometers away. We will be more on the countryside if I can say like that. I didn’t have time to do a research of whole vicinity there, but I am sure there will be some nice landscapes around. And that is where connection is with my today’s post. Maybe it is not far to compare that with Iceland which will be on the menu today as Iceland is known to have one of the most beautiful landscapes on Earth. I still believe there will be still a lot of walkways between green fields and that I will even be able to spot some animals. Before I will do some walks around our new place, I will share some Icelandic beauties today…

Good luck with your move further into the countryside of Slovenia, hope the new home brings happiness and enjoyment.

Extremely beautiful photography of Iceland region, contrast between black earth, green fertile patches, blobs of white snow, unusual rock formations standing guard over all.

Thank you so much for stopping by again @joanstewart. I am happy to have follower like you.

I tried to include the most versatile landscapes I met in Iceland for this post. This country certainly offers a lot of them. I left out all the beautiful seascapes it has to offer and its amazing waterfalls, so there is still an upgrade...

Beauty in the diversity offered in the landscape, being remote is in itself an attraction. Your travel photography is always superb.

Iceland is in my top 3 photogenic countries. It's magical... I made a round-trip on road 1 at the summer, I hope I'll be able some day to photo-travel there in the winter :) I really love how when you see the "P" parking road sign, this automatically means there is something spectacular to see too!
Thank you for sharing these pics, it's good to dream :)))

For me it is probably first on the list of photogenic countries. At least for these I visited so far.
I was there at winter as well and I can say it is even nicer in my opinion. Will share some of the photos in the upcoming weeks.
Thanks for stopping by and have a good day!

Probably you're right, about it being the first. Thinking of a proper competitor, from the top of my head, I recall only Lanzarote. Its volcanic origin and the big contrast are also quite impressive. I guess you've been there? :)
It doesn't have that clean and beautiful in a simple way winter season though. I suppose I'll have to make another post about Iceland soon as well :)
Thank you for the inspiration. Sometimes I forget some amazing places I've been with my camera(s) :)
