A Morning Deer Visit

We awoke the other morning to a small family of deer in our yard. I rushed to grab my camera to try and catch a few images of the mom and her two babies' visit. Here are the shots I was able to get from the doorway.

They were wandering by the house and through the yard when they decided to stop and graze...


and play as kids will.


After determining there wasn't much here to their liking...


it was time to move on. As quickly as they were here they were gone.

Our house is in a development surrounded by woods a few miles out of town. The deer have discovered they can make a good life for themselves hanging out in the 100 or so acres of homes. 😀
