Some colors for you today.

Decided to lift your spirits with these shots.

Greetings to all, and just to show you some happy colors here today. It is now Spring season here and although the temperatures are still cold, we will soon feel the heat again. I bring you some newbies to show you the wonder of Spring. Amazing colors are popping up all over the show, so I have itemized a few to give you an idea of what is taking place here currently.

Come and feast your eyes on the wonders and colors of nature in this blog.

This guy could not fit inside the small flower, so he made a plan.
Look at his back legs hanging in the air.

A cute little African Stonechat (Saxicola torquatus) sat eyeing out some food opportunities.

Spring is here as you can see the new flowers opening up.

Finally, you can see why the Southern Double-collared Sunbird is singing so happily (Cinnyris chalybeus)

Yes, early Spring is always exciting and much new life appears.
A time for love and happiness, as our souls sing to the heavens for the glories that we see. Life goes on and we always have many choices to consider. The main one being, do we want to live a colorless life or would we rather choose to walk in the brightness and happiness of a colored life? Mine is starting to get short, but I enjoy every day to its fullest as it is a gift.

And That's All Friends!

What a joy! Your photos couldn't be finer. That blue sunbird was gorgeous, so cool you got him with his mouth open.
Have a blessed and peaceful afternoon.

Thanks for making me smile.😊😊

Thank you kindly Lady Robin and I am glad that you appreciated the post.

Now something special for you as a preview, as I am keeping this one for another post.
Here's a full frontal view of that little guy.

On a bright sunny day his metallic colors shine even brighter.

Hey my friend, been a busy day. It's been raining here for hours so no fun things to photograph. Cooking is where I have been.
Your photos are so good, I love your bird pix.
Hope you are well and getting settled somewhere.
Peace!

Hi Lady Robin and hope that the rain is gone now.
Cooking is unfortunaltly not one of my skills, and I can only do a barbeque well.
We are lucky to have much birdlife and wildlife here and it certainly helps my attempts to get them on camera.

The settling is still going to take a while, as there is not much in our price bracket, but I trust in the Lord and we are waiting for him as usual.

Peace also to you guys and a bit of !PIZZA for you.

Zac.

Something beautiful on the air tonight.... Possible rain tomorrow and next day then Spring really has arrived, noticed the bats out in full force on quite a humid evening!

Glad that you have something beautiful on the night, as over here we have rain and cold until Friday. No bats here yet as the Palm tree's fruits are still green. Only later in the year will the giant fruit bats appear again.

Your bats a like small flying cats, ours are like mossies of the night.

Tomorrow and Friday a promise of rain, birds are active, very active not sitting long!

Hahaha, they call the bats flying foxes.

Skitterish is the word and yes there is also much competition here between the birds.

More in November and over December for the palm trees here.
This time I will be better prepared, but we might have moved away from here.
Did you know that we have 12 species of bats in the Western Cape.

Weekend greetings to you guys as well.
