Look what I found! | Lucky Nut Tree!!

Yellow Oleander used to be a common plant in our childhood. But as the timber or fruit, nothing is that beneficial it became insufficient day by day. We call it 'Togor' in our native Bangla.

The tree full of small yellow flowers is so eye-soothing. Also, the flower got a mild smell. I can remember, we used to suck the small amount of 'honey' inside the flower when we were young. And with the nut-looking fruit, we used to play some game. My school used to have a range of this tress in the exit doorway.

Those days are long gone...Now we usually don't get to see this Oleander tree anymore, especially in this city. But after ages, I found one!

The glossy green leaves with funnel-like yellow flowers will sure make you feel amazing! You will get to see this if you visit the University of Dhaka campus. There I found two trees.

Look, how the ground is filled with yellow flowers. Isn't it amazing?

I picked some flowers from the ground. The color is so fresh. This flower also has a white & orange color variety as per what I know.

Got the nuts too!

But these are not edible!!

The leaves and the fruits are poisonous. I got to know from Wiki that there are many cases of intentional and accidental poisoning of humans are known.

Maybe that's the reason this tree is getting extinct.

This reminds me of my sweet childhood, what else I could ask for!
