Climate Changes and My Favorite Tree

avatar

Everything has changed since last spring. And when I say everything, I don't just mean our way of life. I mean, everything. And the strangest thing is that the changes are contrary to logic. Just like when we talk about global warming, and the weather is actually getting colder. Now that people have stopped traveling and are not polluting the environment as much as usual, cataclysms have begun.

There have been so many floods and earthquakes in the past year. Earthquakes even in non-seismic areas where I live.

In addition, the weather warmed several times during the winter so that trees and shrubs bloomed. Then these flowers were covered with snow. And let me tell you, there is no sadder picture at the moment than just those frozen and dead bushes in our garden. And what were they guilty of, that they were so deceived by weather?...

...

This year I was fully prepared and looked forward to the blooming of the Paulownia trees in our yard.

I watched them every day and even prepared to take out a chair to step on so I could photograph their beautiful blossoms.

Until the day I realized that this very tree, whose branches I can reach with a chair, will not actually give blossoms this year.

IMG_20210517_220238.jpg

Because it has already begun to give leaves. And the growth of the leaves follows the blossoms.

The seed capsules remained on the branches, some fell to the ground, but there were no blossoms.

IMG_20210518_004458.jpg

And this vital phase was simply skipped.

IMG_20210518_004618.jpg

The reassuring thing is that there is another tree in the garden. And it is already developing normally:

And here are the gorgeous blossoms that precede the leaves:

Enabling the bees to do their job. Because the other tree deprived them of this opportunity.

See this beauty:

Do you now understand why this is my favorite tree?

IMG_20210517_214818.jpg

But unfortunately, this particular tree is too tall to be photographed: 😪

IMG_20210517_220340.jpg

See these beautiful blossoms:

IMG_20210517_214226.jpg

IMG_20210517_214430.jpg

Well, that creates work, of course. Because all these big flowers fall to the ground at one point.

IMG_20210517_214545.jpg

And they need to be swept away.

IMG_20210517_214253.jpg

IMG_20210517_214328.jpg

But this is also different from last year.

IMG_20210517_214455.jpg

Last year I swept away a bucket every day.

And this year...

IMG_20210517_214157.jpg

So, everyone is talking about how, if the bees disappear, there will be no life on earth. And what do we do when the blossoms that provide work for the bees disappear?

IMG_20210517_215512.jpg

Just think about it.

And yes, happy Tree Tuesday to all of you, nature lovers!

It seems the weather has really changed there ! The vibration of the earth is shifting it seems. I’ve never seen any of those trees before. Would life to see the nut looking one blossom.

I myself had not seen these trees either until I came to live in this southern part of my country. They come from Southeastern Asia, but apparently have begun to spread in Europe and North America too.

I think it is partially also the effects of the La Nina cycle, which can bring colder weather to Europe https://www.theweatheroutlook.com/twoother/twocontent.aspx?type=libgen&id=1457

Honestly, I'd never heard of it. Of El Nino, of course, but not that it is guilty of so many things. Sounds a bit ... optimistic. Because it's not all people's fault and their destructive actions. And that not everything depends on us. And even if we start trying to protect the planet, which we have never done, we will not achieve much, because not everything is in our hands. Interesting 🙄🤔

(Edited)

In my country, we fear El Nino very much, it brings awful drought. La Nina brings terrible floods.
Add that to global warming and the heat becomes killer. Global warming is definitely our fault, it makes the extreme patterns even more extreme

I've seen several amazing nature articles and this was a nice as any. I would've had a difficult time saving the best shot for last and not running it on the cover. Gorgeous sunset, all the photos are.

Enjoy your weekend.
