🧶 Hola a todos. Espero que estén muy bien. Por mi parte he ido mejorando de una fuerte gripe que me empezó así de la nada. Pienso que me contagié en la clínica cuando fui a acompañar a mi hermana. No me gusta para nada andar en hospitales ni nada parecido, pero es muy necesario hacerlo especialmente si se trata de acompañar a familiares queridos. Mientras mejoro me he dedicado a tejer algunos paños, carpetas o mantelitos para usar en casa. Hace años no tejo nada para mi hogar. Elegí un tejido sencillo porque casi que lo tejí acostada todo el tiempo, de verdad me he sentido malísima. Poco me da gripe, gracias a Dios.

🧶 He visto espacios muy bonitos en los que resalta mucho este tipo de tejidos, se hacen con puntos calados. Los puntos calados son esos en los que se dejan siempre espacios o huecos entre los puntos. Mi mamá usaba mucho de estas carpetas para montarlas sobre tela.

🧶 Por un tiempo tejí de muchos diseños de puntos calados. Practiqué e hice bolsos y muchos caminos de mesa. Se ven lindos. Este diseño que elegí es sencillo. Pero puedes buscar en la web y encontrarás infinidad de modelos preciosos. Siempre elijo de los que tengo en mi galería de fotos, ya que he ido guardando los que más me gustan después de haberlos tejidos.

🧶 Este modelo consiste en tejer dos vueltas diferentes y a medida que se va tejiendo se van repitiendo las dos hasta terminar el paño. Tomé la medida del ancho y del largo de la mesa y a partir de allí comencé a tejer. Solo conté un número de cadenas múltiples de 5 y logré el tamaño adecuado para el diseño.

🧶 Me concentré en tejer y tejer. Se me acabó el hilo, hice una pausa. Descansé un día y al siguiente fui a comprar más hilos. Seguí tejiendo ya hasta terminarlo, pero por ratos de máximo una hora. Se avanza rápido, solo que me sentía con mucho dolor al estar sentada y tejía acostada.

☀️ I have seen very nice spaces in which this type of fabrics stand out, they are made with openwork stitches. Openwork stitches are those where you always leave spaces or gaps between the stitches. My mom used a lot of these folders to mount them on fabric.

☀️ For a while I knitted many openwork stitch designs. I practiced and made bags and many table runners. They look nice. This design I chose is simple. But you can search the web and you will find lots of beautiful patterns. I always choose from the ones I have in my photo gallery, since I have been saving the ones I like the most after I have knitted them.
