This time i would like to share the project i made last weekend, a cute blue mouse mousepad. It made from felt fabric and so easy to make.

Materials and things needed:

For the pattern, a thick unused paper, a pencil plus a marker
Felt fabrics in white, turquoise, soft blue, black, soft pink and blue (if you don't have you could use baby pink or any colour you like)
Embroidery floss in white, black, soft blue, soft pink
Sewing needle
Scissors

How to make it:

First, i made the pattern of the mousepad on thick paper with the pencil and then marker like below. Then cut it off.

Transfer it to the felt. The big body one with white and blue. The nose and ears with turquoise, inside with white. Also prepares a soft blue for face, small round shape for eye, in white and black. White are larger than black. Two round shape for the two cheeks.

Cut some black embroidery floss then sew it to the face. Remember to sew it under cause we will cover it with the nose. For the ears, join white felt with turquoise. Use the whiped stitch then connect to the body (it would be covered with face). Also sew the nose to the face.

Sew the soft pink for the cheek with soft pink embroidery floss. Hint: for all the sew and stitch things here, i use 2 strains of the floss. Stitch the eyes on the face, also use whiped stitch. Then, sew the face on the body and stitch around with blanket stitch. I used white floss for this blanket stitch. Don't forget the black floss for the tail.

Later, last thing, cut two hearts with soft pink flanel and then put the tail in it. Then, stitch it with the whiped stitch. And voila, the souris is finished...
