Hello, Friends especially needleworkers @needleworkmonday community!

Today I would reveal the needlework project I made, this article is the continuation of my first article last Monday as the teaser. Some of you already answered and some were nearly correct. Today I would tell you that I make a sewing case from felt fabric material. It was so cute with its’ small tail and also easy to make. Let’s find it out!

The Materials and things needed:

  1. unused paper (medium thickness)
  2. a black marker
  3. felt fabrics in soft pink, pink, black and also broken white
  4. craft scissors
  5. paper scissors
  6. embroidery floss (in soft pink and black)
  7. embroidery thread
  8. sewing thread
  9. a small short wire
  10. pink ribbon (15 cm length, 2 pieces)
  11. face cotton
  12. pencil

The Steps:

First, draw the pig on the piece of paper. Made a big circle one for the base, cut two for the inside part then two ears plus a nose.

Then, copy them on the soft pink colour. Cut them off. Also make the nostrils from black colour felt fabric and cut them too.

Prepare the tail by make a small hole on the middle back top (fold first). Then put the wire inside and then sew it. Cut and blanket stitch the tail then sew with this back part.

After finished, add the two ribbons on the base part by sewing it.

Then sew the nostrils. Then sew the nose to the head part then add the face cotton inside. You may cut the face cotton to get the perfect shape of nose like I did. Then sew it all to the face. Sew the two ears too and then draw the closed eyes with a pencil and embroider it with 4 strains of black floss.

Next cut the pink fabric in two small circles for the cheeks and also sew to the face. Prepare for inside with the small square of broken white fabric then sew it to the inside part.

Continue the ears by adding extra soft pink colour on its’ back, then sew them carefully to join them like below.

Last thing to do is sewing all over the pig, inside part and base part together. For this part I used the blanket stitch like below. If you want me to add an extra tips about how to make the blanket stitch please comment below.

Voila, now the cute pig is ready to used. You could also make one for you like mine too.
